Nice to meet you!
Thank you for your interest in New City of Nations Church. We encourage you to join us for a weekend service. You can “come as you are” because we believe that is how God welcomes us all.
Being a smaller church that is multiethnic, we love to greet each other in our heart languages. Below is a fun chart for “Hello” in some of the different languages represented at NCNC:

Here’s a bit more about us to help answer some commonly asked questions for our first-time visitors:
Our Sabbath Gathering….
We believe in the Sabbath gathering as a beautiful communal coming-together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. The relational dimension of our time together both to God and to one another is very important, especially when we have different cultures in our midst. Thus we will usually have a small group discussion time at the end of the sermon to help us respond to and apply God’s word to our lives. Many people enjoy this time as they get to hear how God is moving in our different hearts.
We also love potlucks and will occasionally schedule one at the end of our service. It’s a lot of joy to break bread together!
If You Have Kids….
We believe that kids are a vital part of the NCNC community. It is also the next generation of the church. To help our adults and kids build a sense of belonging together as ONE BODY in Christ, we encourage our families to stay together during the worship portion of our service. Kids love it as they get to worship in different languages with the whole church.
After worship, we have nursery for young children and children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade participate in our Sunday School program called “Kids For Christ” (K4C). Before we dismiss them, the K4C teacher will invite our kids upfront to introduce what they will be learning that day, to pray for them and to lead them in singing an action song. The adults sing along and this never fails to spread smiles or bring laughter across our sanctuary.
Our Youth….
Our Youth stay with the adults in worship. We believe they are ready to engage thoughtfully in learning and growing with a multiethnic and multigenerational setting. They have enjoyed participating in our discussion times at the end of the service and families can continue these discussions even over Sunday dinner or throughout the week.
Our youth group meets with the youth from Community of Nations Church on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays, from 6:30 pm to 7:40 pm in our building.
