Randy Kyle is the Pastor of Preaching and Vision for New City of Nations Church. He has over 25 years of Bi-Vocational Ministry in the Church and the Workplace. Prior to coming to NCNC, he served for 18 years as the Senior Pastor of Journey Church, a multicultural church specializing in Mercy and Recovery ministries in the San Francisco Bay Area, and as the Vice-President of Human Resources for the Oakland Zoo (Conservation Society of California).


Randy has served as a church planter, and as a Pastor in Korean and Indonesian congregations, and has preached in over 60 churches across 20 denominations. In the workplace, Randy was the head of HR for Luther Seminary, Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, San Francisco Opera, Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco, HR Strategic & Operational Consultant for the Kansas City School District, and as an ADP HR Consultant for 70 companies with 4,000 employees.


Randy has a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Grace University. His graduate degrees include a Master of Science in Administration (Human Resources emphasis) from Central Michigan University, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership (MAEL), a Master of Divinity (MDIV), and a Master of Theology (THM) from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (now Gateway Seminary). He is currently in a doctorate program at Fuller Theological Seminary. Randy has two adult children and two rescue dogs. He loves learning a new hobby every year, reading, music, technology, science, C. S. Lewis, road trips, camping, laughing, and chasing waterfalls!
